Leon Benjamin Williams was born August 14, 1928 to the union of Elijah "Buster" and Lorenzy Harris Williams. He departed this life on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Franklin Medical Center. He was a farmer and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on February 11, 2007.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his daughter Rosie W. Gray, seven siblings Retha Mae Williams, Johnny Emeal, Sam Jr., Mary Francis, Gloria, Jesse and John Henry.

Leon is survived by his wife of 65 years Eunice Mayfield Williams, two sons Terry D. Williams, Leon E. Williams, five daughters Lee Ivory Williams, Naomi Boley, Vergie Jackson, Vanessa C. Fields, and Anida "Ida" Williams, two sisters Ann Chisley, Alzie Parker, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, spiritual brothers, spiritual sisters and friends.
