Dora Coleman, 102, homemaker, died Sunday, August 10, 2014.
Services are 1:00p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at
River of Life Church, Winnsboro. Burial at Oakley Cemetery, Gilbert.
Mother Dora Mae Gilbert Coleman was born May 21,1912 in Gilbert, LA to Tommy Gilbert, Jr. and Julia Taylor Mayon. She joined Oakley Baptist Church at an early age. She later became a member of the New Macedonia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years,
Ozie Coleman,Sr.,three sons, Ozie Coleman, Jr., Ivory Coleman, and Van Floyd Coleman.
She is survived by five daughters, Evora Pleasant, Little Rock, AR, Julia Smith (Mack,Jr.) Gilbert, LA, Thelma Mack, Gilbert, LA, Dora Watson, Little Rock,AR and Betty Tucker, Gilbert, LA and son, Emmit Coleman,Sr., Winnsboro,LA, 38 grandchildren, 7 great-great-great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
