Bernard "Ben" Taylor, 55, a dock loader, died Monday, October 5th. Services were held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at Winnsboro Second Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Neal officiating. Burial was held at Hope Estate, Wisner.

Bernard leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving wife, Christine Doyle-Taylor. Four sons: Toriana Clark of Monroe, Louisiana. Quen Johnson and Marcus Ignont of Baton Rouge, Louisana; and Melvin Randall of Angie, Louisiana. Six brothers: Ronnie (Lavonne) Taylor of Fayettville, North Carolina. George (Sharon) Taylor of Philadelphia, Philadelphia. Daryle Taylor of Ruston, Louisiana. Andrew Taylor of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Wayne Taylor, of Ferriday, Louisiana. Three sisters: Vernell Taylor, Waterproof, Louisiana. Annettie (Willie) Peabody of Montgomery, Alabama and Doris White of Parkton, North Carolina. Three grandchildren: Kerrington Hill, Teanna Doyle and Ivory Johnson. (Mama Betty) Betty Taylor-Warren, whom he cherished dearly. Two special ladies: Destiny (Big Girl) and Desrael (Ree Ree) Dumas.
